Link Feast

Happy Friday! It's been a busy, busy week for us - between packaging and sending Christmas orders (!), updating the site, chatting to bloggers, pinning away on Pinterest (how could we not?!), and compiling Christmas market guides, we barely had a moment to stop and gather all our favourite links from around the interwebs. So seeing as we're one day late for Thins we love Thursday', I thought I'd compile the list under a 'Friday Link Feast'. Enjoy!

Have you seen 91 Magazine's 5th issue yet? It's a pearler, stacked with great gift guides, free calendar wallpaper downloads and a great article on crafts you can make with vintage books (you know we're all over that - how beautiful are the paper flowers in the image above?!). Seriously, for content and editorial of that quality, you'd think you would have to pay a small fortune to access it - but by the powers of the internet, it's free! Check it out and get inspired!

How's your spelling? This infographic tells you the most commonly misspelled words in the US and UK. I can say, hand on my heart, that I'm a great speller (it's my party trick!), but 'definitely' still trips me up sometimes.

What's your go-to Christmas music? Usually I just dust off the old Buble, but I'm quite taken with A Very She & Him Christmas (vocals by New Girl's Zooey Deschanel), and I've also been listening to Gala's festive mixtape - That third track is a killer.

Have you ever thought about painting your sofa? Apparently, using CeCe Caldwell's Chalk and Clay Paint, you can! Hell yes to a hot pink sofa!

That's one pink transformation! Image from Debi's Design Diary.

These are five great tips to help kick SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) in the face. There was a mini snow storm in London this week and seeing as it gets dark at 4:30pm now, this is good advice to not get down in the dumps. I would also like to add that writing out your Christmas cards is a great mood booster - kind of like appreciation therapy. There's nothing like writing out all your 'thank you's', and 'you're awesome's' to make you realise how many fantastic friends you have.

Lately I've been loving the blog, Fabric of my life, it's so beautifully styled and wonderfully inspirational. Particularly loved Kate's musings on Cuba - I went there a few years ago, drank far too much rum and LOVED IT!

How gorgeous are these illustrated Czechoslovakian stamps from 1959? They're like little works of art.

Jen from Jenlittlebirdie is doing advent calendar posts to mark down Christmas and it is so lovely! Her photography is just beautiful. That warm wood cabin from Advent Day 6 is calling to us...

Have a great weekend! Keep warm and drink some gluhwein!

(PS: Have you thought about sending any Christmas gifts from Mora Approved to your friends and relatives overseas? Make sure you order before our Christmas deadlines so that they get their gifts on time! And don't forget our free shipping and gift-wrapping Christmas promotion!)
