There's nine days left until Spring (who's counting?) and it's currently snowing here London. For the past few weeks Claudia and I have been aching for the sun. So much so that Claudia took a little break to the sunny shores of Sri Lanka! She gets back today and after spending 10 days sitting on sun-drenched beaches and swatting off mosquitoes I think she's in for quite a shock. I will also have no sympathy for her when the inevitable weather moaning begins. Bitter? Moi?
So all being considered, I decided to post up this wonderful photo of Regensburg, Germany, taken by Igor of the Happy Interior Blog. You can read his full post here. I think I've been yearning for the sun so much that I lost sight of just how gorgeous Europe is in Winter. Snow has this magical capability of wiping the slate clean, momentarily lifting the griminess of a city and making it sparkle like new again. And don't the pastel shades of the building pop against the blinding white snow? So pretty.
What do you love about Europe in Winter?
