This amazing vase range from Dutch designer Foekje Fleur was inspired by the floating debris in the Maas river, which runs through France, Belgium and The Netherlands. They're modeled after the disposable plastic bottles that have invaded our every day lives - the variety of shapes and sizes of detergent and cleaning bottles. When they're stripped of their garish labels and created in high quality bisque porcelain in a variety of beautiful colours, the bottles take on a new, more permanent meaning. They become objects of beauty, rather than objects to dispose of.
Flesvaas 2 measures 18.5 x 7 x 7cm and is a beet pink colour. They're handmade in Jingdezhen and are signed by Foekje Fleur.
We adore these bottle vases because we love how they've turned an otherwise disposable product into something more permanent. They would look beautiful paired together with a vase of a contrasting shape and colour, to create a truly unique statement.
